 Eye Candy Girl and amazing cupcake baker, Natalie, made the Huffington Post with her inclusion of 2 of her photos - that I took last year - in an article about curvy girls and lingerie.

Charleigh made the Athens News!

 I haven't read the actual paper yet... only saw it on my phone. But I think the below photo was identified as Model Tahnee, who was in the red. The lovely lady with the magic hat is Eye Candy Girl Charleigh and it's one of my favorite pics from the shoot because it is totally inspired by a real, vintage and iconic pinup illustration.

Come and try out for Eye Candy!

So, all you lovely ladies out there. If you're interested in joining the Eye Candy Girls, then show up at the Oct 5th Appalachian Color in the Hills Festival (Glouster Ohio) 11am-5pm for an audition.

Come dressed up as a 40's or 50's country cutie and work with us at the event (we'll be acting like a little carnival - handing the kids and playing games with them). It'll be lots of fun and a great way for us to see how you can style yourself, how you interact with the public, how you interact with the Eye Candy Girls, how you photograph, and your work ethic!

It won't be hard, believe me, but it will be fun!

The birth of the Eye Candy Girls!

 This is how it happened:

It was 2008. I made business cards (see the bottom of this post) and had a tiny little basement "studio" in Athens. I was shooting pinups and boudoir and had this lovely group of wonderful and beautiful ladies at my disposal to model for me to build my portfolio.

I wanted a way to reach the public and gain some media attention as well. Boogie on the Bricks was coming up so... an idea was born!

Why don't my lovely ladies dress up as pinups, take buckets of my business cards to the streets with little suckers tied to them, and hand them out in Athens at the Boogie on the Bricks! We could then dance to the Royales - which played music that fit the girls outfits perfectly - and then poof! Disappear into the night, making everyone wonder who the girls were and where they went.

This is exactly what we did and, yes, it was a huge hit. They were photographed, admired, danced with and even made it into the newspaper.

And with this - The Eye Candy Girls - were born.

Afterwards, it was a great night and we all had a lot of fun.

 Our first business cards! We passed them out with the sucker and asked women if they wanted to FEEL delicious. Boom! The campaign was born!

Eye Candy Girls are back... and we need more of them!
